Guantanamo.- Key issues for the recovery in the Baracoa Municipality, in Guantanamo Province after the passage of Hurricane Oscar, such as the feeding of the people, the electric service and the distribution of drinking water and gas were discussed in a meeting of the Municipal Defense Council.

At the meeting, chaired by Yoel Pérez García, President of the Provincial Defense Council, in Guantánamo, the progress of the collection of solid waste in the territory, the attention to people evacuated in state centers, as well as the transportation and distribution of the basic family basket were also reviewed.

Pérez García emphasized the need to accelerate the fulfillment of essential tasks to return tranquility and well-being to the people of Baracoa.
