Guantánamo.- This summer, listeners of Guantanamo radio programming have refreshing programs that entertain and broaden minds since the beginning of the vacation period.
According to Marielis Fuentes Oquendo, Programming Director, explaining that the CMKS Radio Station, the Trinchera Antimperialista, has introduced six new projects to its programming, such as Imprescindibles, aimed at historical events and the greatness of men and women linked to them, such as Arcid Duverger Lafargue and Julio Camacho Aguilera, among others.
She also highlighted other programs, such as El Mundo en tu casa, a radio show with a central theme and thought-provoking sections that reveal Grandma’s Secrets related to housework, cooking, natural and traditional medicine, as well as web-based news, humor, music, sports, and ratings reports.
During this summer season, the provincial radio station in Guantánamo broadcasts Pura Vibra for young audiences, an opportunity to introduce this population segment to different musical genres.
With the contagious Veraneando con mi gente (Veraneando with my people) the CMKS reaches various communities, whose staff has already unleashed its full energy in Caimanera, the town of Argeo Martínez, and the outskirts southern part of the capital city.
Another option for audiences to learn more about every corner of the Guantanamo metropolitan area is the cultural show Entre Ríos, while Changüí Vive brings the public closer to traditional music, the authentic root of the Cuba Son, originally form this part of the island.
