Guantanamo.- The Guantánamo branch of the Cuba-Petroleum Union (CUPET) announced this week via its social media channels that fuel sales in US dollars are now available at service stations through a reservation system on the Tickets platform. This is part of the efforts to mitigate the impact of US sanctions against Cuba and maintain services for the Cuban people.

The announcement specifies that B90 gasoline can be purchased through the Tickets app (available on the ApkList platform). After being registered, users can reserve a purchase slot at the La Perla, Confluente, and La Avenida service stations in the municipality of Guantánamo. B90 gasoline is also available in the municipalities of Imías and Baracoa.

For B94 gasoline, the La Salida station, in Guantánamo City and the La Pasada station in Baracoa City have been authorized. However, B94 gasoline is only available for rental vehicles.
