Guantanamo.- The Guantanamo delegation to participate at the 60th National School Games, received the flag in the commemorative ceremony that took place on Friday, June 21, in the Mariana Grajales Coello Revolution Square, in the Guantanamo capital.
At the event, the athletes reaffirm their aspiration to surpass the ninth place in 2022, the best historical result in the province.
The Guantanamo delegation is made up of 560 members, of which 320 athletes from the school category, 84 from the youth category and 2 from the pioneer category – the rest are coaches and support staff – who will participate in 28 of the 33 sport competitions.
