The authorities of the Electoral Councils in Guantanamo province ratified the commitment to exercise with transparency and legality each process, during the celebrations for the fifth anniversary of these bodies of the Central State Administration.
During the provincial ceremony, several officials were awarded the Enrique Hart Dávalos Distinction, conferred by the Public Administration Union to its members with relevant performance, highlighted Oceania Orihuela Bigñote, President of the Electoral Council in Guantanamo province .
The commemoration in Guantanamo also made possible the delivery of the Fifth Anniversary Seal to a group of officials from each municipal structure, as well as the recognition to founders of the Electoral Councils that for five years have been organizing, directing and validating processes convened by the Electoral Law and the Constitution.
In compliance with the regulations, ethics and the constitutional mandate, between the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, the Electoral Councils in Guantanamo carried out the municipal elections and at the national level, constituted the assemblies of the People’s Power in each territory, in addition to the popular consultation to approve the current constitution of the Republic of Cuba.
