Guantanamo.- Leudis Hernández Díaz from Guantanamo was elected this Friday as a direct delegate to the 22nd Congress of the Cuban Workers’ Federation (CTC, in Spanish abbreviation) scheduled to be held this year.
He works in the Base Business Unit for Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Hydraulic Works in Guantanamo, a center belonging to the Construction union.
Hernández Díaz expressed that he will represent the Guantanamo labor movement in the national event in which he will deal with the concerns of his co-wokers as well as their confidence and daily demonstrations of commitment in the search for alternatives to the economic and financial limitations that the nation is experiencing.
The Guantanamo Province will be represented at the workers’ Congress by five delegates, candidates that were chosen in the organic process developed in the union’s sections.
