Being consistent with effective daily work in correcting the distortions and reinvigorating the Guantanamo economy, was the main focus of the analysis in the meeting with directors, organizations and provincial entities, chaired by Alis Azahares Torreblanca, Governor in the eastterritory, and Carlos Raúl Martínez Turro, vice governor.
At the meeting, the coordinator of objectives and programs of the provincial government, Donna Baños Guerra, presented the proposal for the territorial implementation of the measures that will enable progress in the process of correcting distortions and re-stimulating the economy.
At the meeting, the main incidents regarding cybersecurity in the province were addressed, where it was indicated to be vigilant, given the increase in attacks from abroad towards national networks, as a result of the increase in internet-facing services, without protection measures.
At the end of the meeting, the Governor of Guantanamo indicated “reversing the financial economic situation of the entities and paying attention to the process of correcting distortions of the economy, with an integrative vision and the introduction of science and innovation, so that “it allows progress in the province´s economic and social development.”
