Guantánamo.- With the presence of the member of the Political Bureau and General Secretary of the Cuban Workers’ Federation (CTC, in Spanish acronym), Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, the Provincial Conference of the 22th Congress of the labor movement took place today in Guantanamo.

In the William Ganen Theater of the University of Medical Sciences, 150 delegates from the territory debated about important issues that will consolidate the work of the Guantanamo union.

This second day of the Provincial Conference of the CTC was also attended by Yoel Pérez García, the First Secretary of the Party in the territory and other political and governmental authorities.

The fight against crime, corruption and illegalities, food production, the sugar harvest, the policy of cadres, among other issues, are at the centre of discussions in the meeting that precedes the great union event that will take place in April in Havana.
