Guantanamo – The members of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR) of the Guantanamo Province contribute with their inventiveness to the solutions of 60 percent of the problems identified in the eastern territory due to shortages of spare parts, a figure that could double if the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade by the US Government were not in force.

The ANIR promotes and guides the creative initiative of workers towards the search for solutions to important economic, social and defense problems of the country.

The ANIR promotes and guides the creative initiative of workers towards the search for solutions to important economic, social and defense problems of the country.

It is a voluntary and selective social organization in which its members approve their own regulations, discuss and make agreements, periodically appoint their leaders and agree on their directives under the principles of centralism and trade union democracy.

It carries out its activity under the direction of the union’s members that make up the Cuban Workers’ Federation (CTC) and is governed by its statutes.
