Guantanamo.- A new project for the sale of herbal teas and infusions is implemented by municipal unit 615 belonging to the Pharmacy and Optics Company, located on the corner of Calixto García Street and Aguilera in the Guantánamo City.
The space attracts for the comfort and quality of herbal teas such as linden, which promotes relaxation, sleeping, and soothing the digestive tract, explains the charismatic Kenia Labrada, a clerk at the place where infusions are sold from Monday to Friday in the morning until four in the afternoon.
»The infusion of purple basil is also very popular because it is a plant with antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory properties, it is used for respiratory problems and it is a protector of the cardiovascular system with great antihypertensive properties», says the young pharmacist.
She added that on this occasion infusion were made from dried leaves of five plants and it is planned to extend to a total of twelve, which are sold at an affordable price, always seeking the well-being and health of people.
She also says that this project is part of the 43 measures implemented to strengthen the socialist state enterprise and that it grants greater autonomy for its management.
