With the web portal Online system for the evaluation of competition problems, aimed at the preparation of students for these contests in Guantanamo, the easternmost province of Cuba attends the 3rd 2023 International Cybersociety Congress, which is in session until the next October 20, in Havana.
Engineer Kirenia Nariño Thomas, president of the Cuban Computer Scientists Association (UIC) in the territory, said that the presentation is authored by the Msc Leonardo Cardona Luque, provincial and national trainer of the Computer Science Contest.
This is an automatic jury for the qualification of programming contests at the provincial level, a system that enables the organization and holding of online programming competitions, in addition to the automatic qualification of the participants’ solutions and the real-time updating of the table of positions, the specialist said.
She said that the system is developed with the use of the PHP and PYTHON programming language, which make it possible to obtain a multiplatform product.
It consists of two independent applications that work together, one website to interact with the contestants and another in charge of rating the solutions in the C ++ language sent by clients, she also said.
Organized by the UIC, Cibersociedad 2023 brings together more than 30 speakers and a hundred panelists and speakers from academia, as well as representatives of the Government, business, new economic actors and entities that drive innovation.
Under the motto “Digital Transformation: Global-Local Connection”, the 2023 event will be a space to present the advances of the Cuban Digital Agenda within the framework of the Digital Transformation Policy, along with other similar experiences at a global level, with emphasis on Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean.
In a video sent to the participants, the Cuban Minister of Communications, Mayra Averich, said that the event will be very useful for the process of transforming the digital policy that the country is experiencing.
