The possibilities to show exportable products and the potential of the Cuban easternmost region, will be once again shown in Guantanamo stands in the XVIII edition of the ExpoCaribe 2023 International Fair, scheduled from 21 to 24 of this month in Santiago de Cuba
Participation of the Cuban Upper East that will once again be marked by the aroma of important exportable items such as coffee, coconut and cocoa, an affirmation based on the attendance at the Santiago business meeting of the existing export poles in Guantanamo: the processing coffee plant Capitán Asdrúbal López, known for its AltoSerra brand and the Baracoa agroforestry and coconut enterprise, under its new commercial label Aromás, entities that allow the territory to have a closed liquidity scheme in the productive chain of the aromatic grain and other productions.
Daysi Sarmiento Cala, Director of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of the Provincial Government of People’s Power explained that “this year the number of enterprises in the territory participating in ExpoCaribe has increased to 12, six of them as exhibitors such as: the coffee processing plant Asdrúbal López , the Baracoa agroforestry and coconut, El Salvador agroforestry, the Guantánamo meat industry, medical services branch and GeoCuba, entities that will intervene together with their national counterparts”.
The Guantanamo presence at the second trade fair in the country is completed by companies from the food industry, Baracoa agroforestry, various local industries, agricultural supplies, PescaGuan and the tourism delegation in Guantanamo.
