Guantanamo.- Guantanamo is strengthening its society computerization program, one of the prioritized programs in the country, aimed at supporting e-commerce, online interactions between institutions and citizens, and facilitating procedures in various areas.
As a result of the initiatives that involve several organizations, educational, scientific, and healthcare centers, are benefiting from the digitalization of some processes, which facilitates information searches, teaching, research, and patient care.
In this regard, the implementation of personal data in the Justice computer system and the possibility of requesting various registrations and other legal documents through the Ministry of Jusitice’s website are also noteworthy. This facilitates greater agility in Civil Registry procedures, which are in high demand by users.
Likewise, the use of applications such as Viajando, for the online purchase of bus and train tickets, and Ticket, which allows access to services such as fuel sales at Cupet buses, is noteworthy. This facilitates the organization of these services, which can be accessed by mobile phone from anywhere in the country.
Furthermore, the use of the Enzona and Transfer Móvil platforms allows for online purchases and money transfers, and, through the Mitransfer boulevard, facilitates the collection of goods and services in establishments in the province.
In the case of Transfermovil, the option it offers users to obtain appointments for the purchase of liquefied natural gas in each area and freely convertible currency at Cadeca is also highlighted.
Online payments are also being promoted at locations such as some community markets, grocery stores, state-run pizzerias, La Punta Market, and the Special Bakery located on Los Maceo and Emilio Giró Streets in the city of Guantánamo, although the use of electronic access to products and services is still insufficient.
