The XLVI edition of the Regino Eladio Boti Literature and Plastic Arts Contest, from June 5 to 8, proposes a program of panels, conferences, exhibitions and conversations focused on the contributions of the illustrious Guantanamo figure to artistic teaching and his imprint in local culture.

The event, on this occasion, is dedicated to the 146th birth anniversary of Regino E. Boti, to the 95th anniversary of the books Kodak ensueño and Rumbo a Jaruco, Emotive Prosas, to the work oAntón Morales and to the engraving.

This edition of the event includes special guests of honor Nelson Dominguez, National Prize for Plastic Arts 2009; Reinaldo Cedeño Pineda, National Prize for Cultural Journalism; Nelson Simón, La Gaceta de Cuba winner and president of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac) in Pinar del Río; Alejandro Rama, 2019 Narrative Calendar Award, and Jorge Knight, visual artist, member of the Santiago de Cuba Cultural Workshop.

The program of activities include the opening gala of the event, to be held on June 5 at 7 pm at the Uneac headquarters, the Nelson Domínguez’s personal exhibition at the Antón Morales Art Gallery, of the Provincial Council of the Plastic Arts, and the cultural expedition to the Stone Zoo, with an exhibition and poetic recital by guest writers and artists.
