Guantánamo – Concerns about the instability in the distribution of the basic basket, the housing situation, internal roads, public lighting and the continuous dumping of solid waste on the banks of the Guaso River, transcended in the communication space Diálogo abierto con el pueblo (Open Dialogue With the people), held this Tuesday in the neighborhood under transformation La Caoba.

The event was headed by Yoel Pérez García, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party; Alis Azahares Torreblanca, Governor at the same level, and other political and government leaders, who were received in that community to the rhythm of the Conga de La Caoba and an amateur soloist who performed the song Valientes, by the popular Guantanamo duo Buena Fe.

Joennys Samón, Coordinator of programs and objectives of the provincial government, reported on the distribution through Santiago de Cuba’s port, of 2,800 tons of rice from the regulated basic family basket.

With great expectation and broad popular participation, these #DialogueWithTheNeighborhood spaces in #Guantánamo are  and with them the debate and precise information. #TogetherWeCanMore @yoeaberob1 @AlisAzahares @idalienadc @MiGuantanamo
