Yoel Pérez García, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party in Guantánamo, led a comprehensive visit to the Manuel Tames Municipality that included all the neighborhoods to monitor and evaluate the different existing deficiencies and problems, in order to solve them for the benefit of the inhabitants of the territory.
The day began with the discussion of the Plan and Budget in the Transportation Base Business Unit, the meeting of the Road Safety Commission, the Municipal Energy Council and the meeting of the Recreation Commission.
During the visit, several leaders of the Party Bureau and the provincial Government exchanged with residents in the neighborhoods, workers in workplaces and farmers in productive areas, to share positive experiences and recognize the difficulties that still hinder the development of the territories, especially all in rural communities.
The members of the Provincial Party Bureau discussed the social economic and development plan of the municipality until 2030, as well as social projects that promote food programs, food sovereignty and nutritional education.
The conclusions of the visit of the Provincial Bureau of the Party to our territory are currently being carried out at the Cosmos cinema of the Jamaica Town. The tour was carried out through all the neighborhoods of the municipality to monitor and evaluate the different deficiencies and problems that exist to find the solutions or ways of solving problems for improving the municipality, we have in this space the presence of the 1st Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in #guantanamo Yoel Pérez García, the highest authorities of the territory, and the organizations political and mass.
