The voice of the youth artistic leadership that makes up the Saíz Brothers Association (AHS) in Guantanamo is present in the 4thCongress of that Organization, a space to debate on the agreements of the past conclave and their implementation, among other topics.
Gathered this Sunday and with the slogan “Unete al reto” (Join the challenge), participants will debate in working committees on literature, criticism and research, music, performing arts, visual arts, audiovisuals and promotion, and the functioning of the organization.
The president of the AHS in Guantanamo, Dairon Martínez Tejeda, commented about the aspects to be discussed and the expectations of the Guantanamo delegation at the event:
The debates on the artistic and literary creation of Cuban young people will demonstrate the event notoriety, and this will be the space in which youth and culture will define the nation´s future, precisely because they are two of the scenarios to be analyzed in the contest.
Different cultural proposals, varied creative concepts, platforms and cultural management stand out among the concerns of the participants in the event, who will seek to preserve the roots of our culture.
The event is essentially dedicated to the figure of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, architect of the AHS.
