Guantánamo.- The Press Conference for the 2025 Cuban Culture Day in Guantánamo took place at the Café Cantante América Cultural Center, an institution belonging to the provincial branch of the Agency for Artistic and Literary Promotions (ARTEX).
The meeting, chaired by Yoelvys Labañino Lopez, director of the cultural sector in the province, explained that the day will take place from October 10 to 20. This year, the event is dedicated to the centennial of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and the 95th anniversary of the birth of the notable Cuban intellectual Armando Hart Dávalos.
Additionally, the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Alfredo Velázquez Carcassés Professional Dance School, an institution honored during the event, was highlighted, and the cultural program was discussed in detail, which includes theoretical and community activities in neighborhoods and communities throughout the country.
