Guantanamp.-Short summer courses, trips to museums and historical sites stand out among the initiatives organized in the 86 educational institutions that remain open in Guantanamo province to offer a dynamic recreational plan to schoolchildren in this summer 2024.
In these schools, students also have at their disposal sports areas and playgrounds to carry out street plans, sports meetings, “Let’s play” programs and traditional games, the latter of which are very popular among the youngest students.

Accompanied by cultural promoters and the National Institute of Sports and Recreation (INDER), vacationers will also enjoy soccer and chess matches, excursions to museums, tarjas and monuments, among other recreational offers, with the aim of promoting recreation and knowledge of the cultural and historical heritage of the locality.
