Guantanamo – Since early Saturday morning, November 15, heavy rains have caused flooding in Baracoa, according to reports from various social media platforms.
Institutional profiles of Radio Baracoa and Primada Visión, as well as residents, continue to send images and testimonies showing the flooding on Calle 7 in Bohorque neighborhood, where the situation is critical.
The torrential downpours also caused the Duaba River to swell, damaging facilities, fences, and crops in the Pellizcaso area, where the water reached over 2 meters inland, wrote Pablo Gomero on his Facebook profile.

Yoel Pérez García, president of the Guantánamo Defense Council, toured areas flooded by the overflowing Miel River in the Baracoa district of Cabacu, due to the heavy rains from the current cold front.
