The rainfall associated with the hydrometeorological phenomenon these days in the municipality Niceto Pérez is described as very beneficial, mainly for livestock and agriculture.
Yolaidis Rojas Romero, president of the Municipal Defense Council and first secretary of the Party Committee there, specified that the rains were not significant in that territory, where the La Yaya reservoir only collected 43 percent of its total capacity of 160 million cubic meters of water.
He also said that more than 400 heads of cattle, nearly 900 calves and other animal species have been taken to high places, 29 windmills and 7 photovoltaic pumps were also dismantled, among other actions to avoid loss of materials and other necessary resources in the livestock sector.
Recovery of agricultural products in Yateras due to intense rainfall
