Guantánamo – The ingenuity and creative talent of members of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR, in Spanish abbreviation) movement at the Doctor Agostinho Neto Teaching General Hospital will be highlighted this October 8th at the provincial event, in Guantánamo on occasion of the Innovator’s Day.

Yanisleidis Acosta Navarro, president of the ANIR in the territory, expressed that it is recognition for the innovative men and women at the largest healthcare center in this part of eastern Cuba, whose actions constantly challenge the US blockade.

The ANIR members have contributed to extending the useful life of obsolete medical devices used in clinical and surgical examinations, X-rays, CT scans, dialysis machines, and infusion pumps, and other vital applicants for patient care procedures.
