Alternatives to boost production in entities lacking raw materials, as well as solutions to technical difficulties in obtaining beers, soft drinks and dairy products, received recognition in Guantanamo on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the founding of the first movement of innovators and rationalizers in the country, with the creative impulse of Ernesto Che Guevara.

Lidalmis González Pérez, President of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR) in the main municipality, highlighted in innovative activity in the Beverages and Soft Drinks Enterprise and also praised the support of the more than six thousand members of the structure for their work in the midst of a ruthless economic and financial crisis in the country.

She also expressed that the recovery of equipment, import substitution and development of more than twenty initiatives contributed to the savings of more than 27 thousand pesos to the national economy through innovation, a response to logistical problems with a direct impact on production processes within a business sector increasingly harmed by the USA  blockade against Cuba.

The ANIR has a thriving number of consecrated women in Guantanamo for more than 15 years, the president called to extend its influence in all branches of the economy and society,

Thanks also to women, the Guantanamo Meat Products Enterprise shows the construction of channels or lines for transferring the organic parts of the cattle to other departments without stopping the process and with greater speed, an experience already extended to the Base Business Unit of the municipality of Imías.

In addition, the introduction of a complete production line of alternatives for school snacks whose equipment was broken, and another for the use of all the waste generated by the industry, now reused for the manufacture of organic fertilizers, soaps for sale to workers and blood sausage masses from the incorporation of blood remnants and without the use of flour.
