Guantanamo.- Flour for this week’s bread is guaranteed in Guantánamo, as it was announced at the service review meeting led by the territory’s top authorities.

Measures for the stable operation of pumping stations were also reviewed, according to established cycles and the availability of electricity.

In the case of the community of Los Güiros, located south of the capital city of Guantánamo, and Sempré, in the municipality of El Salvador, it was agreed to assist their residents with water pipes while the water connections that will supply them are completed this week.

Incidents at the electricity grid are being addressed more promptly, evidence of a better response to community complaints.

Regarding medical services, the operation of eleven ambulances in the area was reported, as well as the repair work being done on one belonging to the municipality of Yateras.

Yoel Pérez García, First Secretary of the Cuban Communist Party in the province,insisted on saving and controlling resources and monitoring fuel consumption to ensure services do not stop.

For her part, Alia Azahares, Governor of Guantánamo, called for intersectoral and united work to resolve any difficulties that may arise.
