Young writers from Guantanamo and guests from several Cuban provinces will meet in the Villa del Río Guaso from January 25 to 28, to take part at the 10th La Isla en Peso Literature Meeting .
The event, sponsored by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) in the territory, will be dedicated to Science Fiction literature in Cuba, and will honor the 171st birth anniversary of José Martí and the 105th of the writer Oscar Hurtado.
Arletis Romero Lafargue, heading the organizing section of the biennial event promoted AHS, said that they include activities in open places, student centers and workplaces, where they will promote the works of the young Cuban writers and visual artists, and also activities will end with the jamming of local musicians at the Young Creator
