Guantanamo – After weakened to a tropical storm, Oscar left damages in the Yateras Municipality, especially in agriculture, due to the flooding of the rivers, strong winds and rains, according to the report of the Mayor of the municipality, Idail Toirax Lopez.
The settlement of Bernardo de Yateras is still isolated, because part of a bridge in that People’s Council collapsed. Losses to agricultura are estimated at about 6,500 cans of coffee grains, as well as other volumes of bananas and beans. The Cadena River, in Felicidad de Yateras town, is flooded and does not allow passage.
