Guantánamo – The Mountain Development Center (CDM), the only one of its kind in the country, reaffirmed its status as a National Vanguard for the seventeenth consecutive time in recognition of its contributions to Cuban science and the fulfillment of its union duties.
MSC. Amaury Díaz Rodríguez, director of this research center, expresses the collective’s pride in receiving this recognition in the midst of celebrations of the International Workers’ Day.
During the ceremony, Miriam Crump Parris and Mabel Mulen Favier were honored for their outstanding work over several years as secretary of the union section and financier, respectively, of this institution that celebrates May Day.
