The Status of National Vanguard of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) was granted to Ludmila Rivera Villalón from Caimanera on the occasion of the municipal ceremony held in the town Hatibonico for the 63rd anniversary of the creation of that mass organization.
In the event, the Looking at the Sea Detachment of the aforementioned community was acknowledged with the 28 de Septiembre Distinction and the Medal for La Unidad del Barrio (Neighborhood Unity) was awarded to neighbors and areas that stood out in carrying out the activities.
The meeting was attended by the highest authorities of the Party and the Government in the Caimanera Municipality, as well as leaders and officials of political, social and mass organizations.
Giannis Pérez Reyes, municipal coordinator of the CDR, ratified the commitment of the people of Caimanera to the socialist project and the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution, to whom the celebration is dedicated.
