Guantanamo – On Sunday morning, the Municipal Defense Council (CDM) of El Salvador outlined the measures to be adopted to mitigate the possible damage that could be caused by the effects of a meteorological phenomenon located near the eastern region of the country.
Given the imminent rains in the mountainous territory, which has soils saturated by precipitation from Hurricane Oscar, plans are being activated to evacuate the population to safe places, especially those who live in the flood prone areas, especially in areas close to the riverbanks and water reservoirs.
