The Provincial Bureau of the Party and the Government Council in Guantanamo agreed to grant the provincial headquarters of the activities for the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution to the municipal capital of this eastern territory.
During this period, Guantanamo has maintained stability in compliance with the main economic, social and political indicators. The plan for the delivery of milk, the production of charcoal, honey and propolis is fulfilled, the construction of the 179 homes foreseen in the plan has been completed, as well as the development of productive micro-poles in several communities.
Several of its entities stand out in the stage for the construction of children’s houses to benefit working mothers, others such as Culture and Sports received national recognition for their results, added to the praiseworthy participation of athletes in the Pan American games.
This year, 17 local development projects are strengthened, three construction materials mini-industries were set up, control of the Covid 19 pandemic is maintained and progress is made in the bankization process in the main services, among other results that support such a decision.
