Guantánamo.- The national president of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS, in Spanish acronyms), Yasel Toledo Garnache, visited the province of Guantánamo, where he participated in the closing ceremony of the 13th Cine Andante Festival. During his stay in the province, he also held a meeting with young creators who are members of this organization.

The journalist and writer, also attended the closing ceremony of the event from the headquarters of the José Marcelino Maceo Grajales Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences, where he spoke with the audiovisual producers attending the event and also congratulated the winners of the competition, which was held for the first time in 2025.

As part of his tour of Guantánamo, he visited the Alfredo Velázquez Carcassés Professional Dance School during the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the founding of this regional benchmark for artistic education, a center where he shared with its teaching staff and students.

Also, at the headquarters of the Hermanos Saíz Association in Guantánamo, he held an exchange with young creators from the region about the cultural program being organized in the country to celebrate the thirty-ninth anniversary of the founding of this avant-garde cultural organization, to be commemorated this coming October.

The promotion of the work of the members of AHS on various platforms, the significance of the community work of its members in their territories, as well as the monitoring of the construction process of the House of the Young Creator in Guantánamo were other topics discussed at the meeting with the national president of the AHS, Yasel Toledo Garnache.

The meeting was also attended by the director of the Culture sector in the province, Yoelvys Labañino López, and representatives of the centers and councils of this association at the same level.
