Guantánamo.- Until December 7, the Prevention and Confrontation Exercise against Crime, Illegalities and Drugs will take place throughout Cuba, a day for which the health sector of Caimanera will carry out a group of actions with the aim of strengthening control, prevention and confrontation mechanisms.
Sucel Noa Ocaña, municipal pharmacoepidemiologist, informed the news program Defrente that the holding of educational talks in educational centers of the municipality nuances the activities of the health sector in the marine town, to which the Barrios Debates are also added in selected communities, all with the objective of evaluating the functioning of the prevention groups in the demarcations of the popular councils (CP), particularly those tasks of a prophylactic nature with people with antisocial behavior in the communities.
The educational centers of the municipality will also carry out similar activities, together with students and teachers of the different levels of education in the territory, aimed at rejecting the consumption of drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as working with families so that they know how to act from home in the face of any behavioral abnormality.
Systematizing preventive work for this scourge, in which Cuba has zero tolerance for drugs, is the main objective of the exercise that this year not only brings together the health sector, but also the Municipal Directorate of Justice, as well as the Ministry of Finance and Prices, accompanied by the Prevention and Social Care Group in Caimanera.
