The Housing provincial director in the territory, Olaidis Méndez Planche, said that the municipalities of Yateras, Maisí, San Antonio del Sur, El Salvador, Niceto Pérez and Guantánamo, stand out with deliveries, despite the usual shortages of steel, cement, electrical and bathroom modules, and other construction materials
Today, the demographic policy in the province promotes births and financial disbursements to natural or legal persons for the construction, as well as the expansion of these homes, and are around 14 million 400 thousand pesos, of which only 6 million 823 thousand 500 have been performed.
In this regard, Dayamí Soria Latamblé, provincial deputy director for the control of the housing fund, says that the allocation is from a previously approved budget for subsidies to people with lack of financial solvency, which makes it possible to obtain only 12 homes through the state, 2 through one’s own efforts and one through a subsidy.
For the last quarters of 2024, stability is forecast in the current conditions, which result in a shortage of bathroom tiles, construction wires, lighting, switches, hardware and zinc tiles, in the local warehouses specially arranged for this collection.
