The Tourism Delegation of the Guantanamo Province designed from the Islazul, Palmares, Transtur and Campismo Popular agencies, a program of recreational activities for the summer high season, aimed at Cuban and foreign vacationers.
The offers include a day trips to Baracoa, Villa Punta de Maisí and in the pools of the Hotel Guantanamo and Villa La Lupe, which are great options in the months of July and August.
Onelkis Ferrer Kindelan, delegate of Tourism in the territory, reported about the possibility of booking for one or two nights in some hotel facilities and excursions to Doña Yuya and Playita de Cajobabo, in San Antonio del Sur and Imías municipalities, respectively, which are novelties this summer.
Likewise, vacationers can enjoy ecotourism with 45 nature products, concentrated mostly in Baracoa’s Center for Tourism, in addition to the six new trails recently approved in the Maisí Municipality.
In the midst of the complex economic context of the country, the Tourism Delegation is expanding its efforts and agreements with producers and MSMEs, in favor of sustaining and diversifying the gastronomic offers in the centers, Ferrer Kindelan said.
This summer season, Guantanamo’s Tourism offers to Cuban and foreign visitors several options, ranging from sun, beach, rivers, nature tourism to the services in hotels and Campismo Popular facilities, under the premise of satisfying customer.
