Guantanamo.- The five food production companies in the municipality of Niceto Pérez, in Guantanamo Province, reaffirm their commitment to increasing the volume of root vegetables, greens, and grains such as rice for social consumption and supply to institutions in the territory.

The more than twenty Credit and Service Cooperatives, the three Agricultural Production Cooperatives, and other agricultural entities are make the effort to guarantee products for different age groups in order to improve their quality of life.
