The exhibition shows 60 photographs of the UK band in Nakano,all taken by Robert Whitaker.
One of the pictures shows John Lennon in a kimono and another the band plying under a Japanese flag.
According to a 30 years old visitor to the exhibit, she mentioned she was happy to be able to see The Beatles, because she had only seen them in a picture when they were leaving the country.
