Antonio Ernesto Planos Samón, president of the organizing committee of the event, said they are thinking of giving concerts of invited groups like Golpe Seco from Santiago de Cuba, who won a Cubadisco award in the category of Rap; and Mirmidones y Toni Scull from Holguin, who venture into the rock.
Planos Samón said that there will be a representation of DJ electronic music growers in places like Havana and Holguin, while Ernesto Navarro y su mecánica musical, the soloist King Mayún and the Morbo rock group, unique of its kind in Guantánamo, will be, among others, representing the First Village of Cuba.
The also president of Baracoa´s youth artistic vanguard reported that the highest percentage of actions will occur around the park called Columbus, bathing area of this Summer 2016 and where many young people attend.
Critical spaces, conferences, debates, presentations of discs and exchanges of experiences will also be made to enrich this way the consumption of making music at the Greater Antilles.
The third edition of the festival has as purpose a feedback between artists and the public of Baracoa as well as to overcome in quality the previous meeting.
Lec Kortada is dedicated this time to the 30th birthday of the Hermanos Saíz Association and the 40th anniversary of the Political Song Day in Cuba.
