Narciso Medina in GuantanamoThe renowned dancer and choreographer Narciso Medina Favier returned to his native land, Guantanamo, to share his latest premiere El Nido at the Guaso Theater of this city, and to exchange with new and acclaimed artists of the territory's dance movement.

The new choreography was inspired by a Japanese legend, a cultural reference that turned Maestro Medina into a dance performance of direct dialogue with the viewer through music, intimate sound and interpretative introspection achieved on stage, thanks to his prolix movements.

After his presentation, the prominent Guantanamo dancer was acknowledged by the Provincial Council of Performing Arts, from the hands of the president Virgin Speck, as a sign of gratitude for his contributions to national and international dance.
