From September 19 to 23, the stages and public spaces of Guantanamo host the performances of the second SaltaPalabra Biennial, a festival aimed at preserving oral narration and incorpotating new generations into this ancient way of making art.

The Guantanamo delegation to the First National Conference of the Cuban Workers Federation of the Culture Sector starred in a tour of the municipalities Baracoa, Maisí and Imías as part of their activities preceding the labor movement meeting, which will take place in the Cuban capital from October 11 to 13.

A journey through the evolution of radio in Guantanamo marked the last of the three days of Punto Cero, the most recent event of media in the country, an initiative of the CMKS Radio Station and the Hermanos Saiz Association with the purpose of promoting the work of the young people of the more than 90 Cuban radio stations.

With the presence of Luis Morlote Rivas, vice president of the Cuban Writers and Artists Association (UNEAC), along with Guillermo Solenzal Morales, vice minister of Culture, the first constitutive process in the entire country of the Territorial Organizing Committee of the Ninth Congress took place in Guantanamo.
