These days the documentary El pais que ya no existe (The country that no longer exists), the short La trucha and the animation Xip Zérep contra los vampiros lácteos(Xip Zerep against dairy vampires) will be screened and also theoretical sessions and film discussions are included in the program .
Workers at the Film Provincial Center in Guantanamo will honor their retirees and will attend the presentation and discussion of the documentary Mirta, to be screened on March 24 and will also enjoy the performance of Danza Fragmentada Dance Company.
The Cuban Film Institute, ICAIC, was created on March 24, 1959, a few days after the triumph of the Revolution, and is the leading producer of feature films, documentaries and animated in the country, very remarkable for its artistic and intellectual prestige.
