The Provincial Assembly of People's Power in Guantanamo advances in the creation of the Website of the Citizen, recognized in this city by the lawyer Débora Aragón Abadad, member of the communication team of the Cuban Parliament that perfomed for the first time in Guantanamo a control of communication institutional.
The official had an exchange with the personnel designated to attend the communication policy in several municipalities of the territory and provincial government, and with their respective first vice presidents, responsible in the territory of the communication policy and the strategy by which it is applied.
During a meeting with Juan Carlos González Dalmau, first vice president of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, in the chief town of the territory, the official received a detailed explanation of the institutional work in the aforementioned sphere and its communication and dissemination strategy.
On this last aspect she emphasized the publication of the magazines "Entre ríos" and "Carnaval", which raise the self-esteem of the inhabitants of the sixth most populated city of the archipelago.
The first of these reflects, in addition to the local history and its great figures, the work of the delegates in neighborhoods, communities and the programs aimed at the socioeconomic development and the quality of life of the Guantanamo people.
González Dalmau explained the technological and construction progress of the Solvisión Television Channel for the benefit of communication, with the territorial contribution of one percent, a tax paid by companies and cooperatives for local development.
Among the advances noted by the official highlights the interaction in the social networks of blog and institutional website, in addition to the designation of a communicator in the 10 municipalities, as in the province.
Offering all the information needed by the people and achieving an increasingly inclusive and participatory environment is the goal of participation spaces as the citizen's websites, as well as eliminating bureaucracy and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of public management.
