The installation of 93 new high-power solar panels in the communities El Mosquito, La Demajagua, Los Naranjos and Las Municiones, in Yateras Municipality, will raise the quality of life for the more than 300 people who live in these intricate areas of the Guantanamo geography, as part of the Energy Program implemented nationwide.

Reaching higher levels in the production of tubers, meat, vegetable and grains, to be on the plate of the Guantanamo people, is the main mission of the agricultural system in the province, a decision-making body in the achievement of true food sovereignty and nutritional education of the population.

With the approval of the start in Guantanamo of Phase III of clinical trial of the Abdala vaccine candidate and the recognition of the active participation of women in the direct confrontation of Covid-19, the Cuban Women Federation (FMC) in the territory holds the Provincial Plenary of the organization.
