Guantanamo.- The Permanent Commission created by the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in the Yateras Municipality to serve Commerce, Gastronomy and other services, assessed the corresponding control of the work carried out during the last three months at the four community dining rooms and the elderly home in the Family Care Service (SAF) program.
During such visits, it was possible to verify the development of recreational, cultural, sports activities and health talks that are held in these institutions, which show the level of integration of sectors in order to improve the mental, emotional and physical state of the elderly, disabled, social cases, people with low income and lacking family members, who apply to these centers.
In the control carried out in the dining rooms in Yateras provided by the (SAF), deficiencies were detected regarding the variety of the menu of the two meals that the more than one hundred and twelve diners approved by the direction of Labor and Social Security receive daily, in addition to the state of some utensils for cooking food and lights, which were promptly reported to be attended to and resolved by the responsible agencies.
The Family Care System is not a great favor that is done to the people who are part of that program, but rather it represents the reward, to a large extent, as a society that is indebted to these people, who are a priority for the Party and the Government of the Yateras Municipality.
