Physical Education Plenary Session Held in GuantánamoGuantanamo.-The strategy that allows Guantanamo province not to have a deficit of Physical Education teachers, the stable work of these professionals in all municipalities and the need to improve the conditions of the premises and implements to guarantee a higher quality in the classes, were the focus of the debates of the Physical Education Provincial  Meeting.

In the space, chaired by Richard Cruz Alcedo, Director of Sports in the province, as part of the analysis of the recently concluded 2023-2024 school year and on the eve of the upcoming 2024-2025, experiences of innovation were also presented in view of the lack of implements, of the preparation to teach classes of higher methodological quality and to better reach the students.

“We are satisfied with the results achieved by our athletes in the different categories and levels, as well as the outcome in the School Games, as a result of our work in the classrooms and special areas,” commented Eduardo Tejeda Wilson, head of the provincial department of Physical Education.

The event served to recognize the work of outstanding teachers who defend the sport from the schools, the basis for finding future talents who later integrate the high performance centers.
