Workers at the Argeo Martínez Sugar Mill in the Manuel Tames municipality, intensifies their repair stage in order to guarantee good performance for the upcoming harvest.
In addition to the plant’s facilities, maintenance will be carried out on the sugarcane roads contemplated from the towns of Honduras to El Sigual, and from Argeo Martínez to the Guantanamo community, important investments to be carried out in that demarcation in order to favor the sugar industry in the area.
The investment project has support amounting to about two million pesos and, as planned by Community Services. Such work must be carried out during the months of November and December, before the start of the 2023-2024 harvest at the Argeo Martínez power plant, the only one active in the province of Guantanamo.
