Guantanamo residents will celebrate the advent of the 65th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution with a program including cultural, recreational, political and productive activities, as it was known in a meeting of the province´s top authorities with directors of organizations and institutions.
“This is the Revolution” is the motto that marks all the actions of the program, which highlights the day of voluntary work on December 17 linked to sanitation work, food production, the harvest and others of economic and social interest to all the municipalities of Guantanamo.
The provincial event for the 65th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution at the Mariana Grajales Square, La Guantanamera Festival from December 14 to 17 and the fairs of agricultural and handcraft products on the 29th and 30th this month, are also part of the planned activities.
January 2nd will be dedicated to children and for them, the big party will be at the Elpidio Valdés Amusement Park with a cultural-recreational design and gastronomic options, an experience that must be stabilized every Sunday and that “we are going to guarantee all those in charge as a challenge in the current circumstances” said Yoel Pérez García, First Secretary of the Party in the province who presided over the meeting where the activities for the 65th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution were announced.
