Guantánamo – The Attorney General’s Office of the Republic in the Niceto Pérez Municipality received the 22sd Congress Plaque of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC), motivated it in the context of its conclave, geared towards promoting actions to improve the necessary working conditions on occasion of the largest event.
The Prosecutor’s Office has as its fundamental objectives, the control and preservation of legality, which ensures strict compliance with the Constitution and with laws and other decrees and resolutions issued by State agencies, economic and social entities and by citizens. It also has the power to initiate public criminal proceedings on behalf of the State.
Its institutional mission is to protect the political and legal order of the State and society, seeking to restore broken legality by promoting actions and measures against offenders.
