Guantánamo – A comprehensive evaluation of the progress of the actions being undertaken in Guantanamo as part of the recovery after the passage of Hurricane Oscar was focused on the debate at the most recent meeting of the Provincial Defense Council, chaired by Yoel Pérez García.
During the meeting, it was known that, when conditions permit, progress has been made with the delivery and the distribution of food, the clearance of roads, the recovery of medical offices and schools affected by the meteorological phenomenon.
It was pointed out that only 71 of the more than 238 warehouses damaged by Oscar need to be supplied with food products, and 30 points of sale for construction materials have also been set up, since the damage to homes and institutions is among the most significant.
