Guantánamo – With the goal of ensuring a portion of the rice consumed in schools, daycare centers, and hospitals in Guantánamo Province, the top authorities of the Party and Government in the eastern territory is prioritizing fuel deliveries to rice producers.

Guantánamo foresees to plant 400 hectares of rice, and the Guantánamo Party delegation, headed by Yoel Pérez García, exchanged with the producers of this essential crop.

A press team visited the community of La Jabilla, where producers from that area, along with those from Caimanera, the largest rice-growing region in this eastern territory, gathered.

At Antonio Márquez’s lands, the farmers analyzed some issues to improve the efficiency of the upcoming rice harvest.
