Drivers of mass transports (state or private) in charge of the transportation to bathing and recreation areas must carry out the technical diagnosis of their vehicles at the ERTA plant, popularly known as “somatón”, according to the provincial government´s Road Safety Commission.
For the technical review, drivers must present the updated equipment´s circulation, as well as the technical review and, once the diagnosis has been done, the vehicle owner will go to the Inspectors Unit of the Provincial Administration Council in order to request the permit.
The note also states that the equipment will be reinspected monthly, a process that excludes the loading tools to the aforementioned areas, and specifies that during the summer the departure time will be at 5:30 am, and the return at 3:00 pm.
